Niles Pond Dream is inspired by this heavenly scene just down the road from where I live in East Gloucester. The pond freezes to a beautiful shade of neutral gray. I saw the sun set like a pink sheer being draped on the horizon by a skilled tailor. The feelings of peace and hopefulness are heavy at this sacred spot on Cape Ann.
