Wonson's Cove in East Gloucester is one of my favorite neighborhood scenes. At mid-tide this nautical landscape features long veins of blue water that stretch back to the ocean in meandering patterns over the soft gray sand. The classic skiff and buoy dressed in white show off their shadows and light. I'm not sure about the rope that ties them together...but I do love this couple!
Ironically, "The Couple" recently split up as a result of a sale on the bottom half of this duo! The top portion that features Ten Pound Island can be found at Salted Cod Arthouse, 53 Rocky Neck Ave., Gloucester, MA! Talk amongst yourselves there over some French wine, or espresso!
