North Shore Montessori School - Painting Commission
North Shore Montessori School, nestled in Rowley, Massachusetts, serves children aged 2.8 to 12 years old. This institution fosters confidence, lifelong learning, and a profound respect for oneself, others, and the world. As a Representational Artist residing in the Cape Ann area, I am honored to create a painting that captures the essence of this enchanting place.
The project commences with an on-site meeting with the esteemed proprietor, Margaret Henry, a certified Montessori Lead Teacher who has dedicated nearly two decades of building and curating this sanctuary for children. My initial study will begin in mid-May when the peace gardens, chickens and grounds start to warm up.
I am thrilled my art will be housed above the learning piano inside of this magical place where children grow and learn and where life long memories are made.
